It is important that we all prepare ourselves to recognize words that bully before we hear them addressed to us or others in order to practice safety. Negative words and actions are used by bullies that can hurt mentally, emotionally and/or physically: they BLAME; they JUDGE; they DOMINATE and CONTROL.
We believe that bullies are people behaving as predators who want to diminish or take life away from their prey. They look for people they think are weak victims to feed their own hunger based in inadequacies and lack in human connections such as love and empathy.
Our mission is to not let bullies scare us into submission and low self esteem. We won’t let them scare us. We are strong. We are not victims nor are we prey for other people. We are all in this life together, and we stand united in our effort to end bullying.
Hudsen will define the words we will want to know and discuss. Let her begin:
The Xerox Intermediate Dictionary defines a bully as a person who tries to frighten those smaller or weaker than himself.
Blame: To accuse of being responsible for a fault or error.
We will continue defining these words with our next blog. Let us live and not die.
